Philip Shpartov is a pianist and composer in Moscow, and one of the newest artists on the Heart Dance Recordings label. Inspired by Chopin, Philip has written emotional pieces emulating life's gifts and challenges. One specific tales is that of playing, practicing and composing on a piano with only 87 keys. His song, appropriately titled 87 Keys, symbolizes that even though life can be happy and fulfilling, it is not always as perfect as others may perceive. Philip has left his broken key unrepaired to remind himself of some of the struggles and challenges he has faced in life.
